Mental Wellness

Why do you need a Mental Wellness Check?

The World Health Organization has defined wellness as a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Wellness can be divided into eight main dimensions which play a key role in a person’s life. They include: Occupational wellness, emotional wellness, spiritual wellness, environmental wellness, financial wellness, physical wellness, social and intellectual wellness.

With that in mind, mental wellness can be defined as the positive state of an individual’s mental health which involves being able to cope with stressful situations, managing crisis and learning the art of relaxation.
